
The 2024 Limpopo Investment Conference has reportedly secured R120.329 billion in pledges to drive economic growth and job creation across the province. The provincial government held a two-day conference from 7 to 8 November 2024 in Polokwane, where key stakeholders from both the private and public sectors attended to explore and promote investment opportunities in Limpopo. The pledged investments are aimed at fueling priority areas for Limpopo’s development, including green energy initiatives, critical infrastructure projects and catalytic ventures that will stimulate industrial growth and support the establishment of industrial parks.
These projects are expected to create numerous jobs, ranging from short-term positions to full-time employment opportunities, significantly impacting local communities. Implementation of projects funded from these pledges will start on the 24th of November 2024 and continue through October 2025.

- Aganang Shopping Mall – R200 million
- Abok Pharmaceutical – R264 million
- Thavani Mall – R300 million
- Limpopo Theatre – R315 million

- JBK Engineering – R2.5 billion
- Mopani Mkhufi – R2.8 billion
- Zebediela Nickel – R3 billion
- Mantengu Mining – R3.3 billion
- Networth – R4 billion
- Skyworth Green Energy – R4 billion
- Sanral – R4.1 billion
- Masingita Projects – R4.5 billion
- Giyani Solar – R7 billion
- Zero Carbon Charge – R7.2 billion
- Generic Core Sustainable Energies –
R8.6 billion - Kulani Energy – R10 billion
- Mafolo Park – R12.5 billion
- Kona Maanda – R36 billion
In total the pledged investment is R120 329 billion.
Reacting to the pledges, Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba said this commitment from the business sector shows the strong support for the province’s 7th administration and its focus on sustainable development and economic resilience.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to the business sector and all industry leaders who have partnered with us to uplift our province. These pledges are an important step in transforming Limpopo’s economic landscape, and we are confident that this partnership will bring substantial benefits to the people of Limpopo who need access to enhanced services and opportunities”, she said.
