On 18 October Lephalale SAPS issued out information about 22 years old Jimmy Motlogeloa who escaped from lawful custody around 11h30 when he was to appear at Lephalale Magistrate Court.
Motlogeloa was arrested for burglary and sexual assault on cas 138/10/2016 .
According to Lephalale SAPS, he escaped from court cells while waiting at the passage by unlocking the leg irons (foot cuffs) with the original keys before breaking the burglar door and escaping through the unused court.
There were reports of him seen between Northam and Thabazimbi prior to the latest arrest.
Motlogeloa was re arrested while walking near Marapong Clinic on Saturday around 20h00.
In addition to his initial charges he now faces another Cas 211/10/2016 of escaping from lawful custody.
