Chinese shop owner was gunned down after refusing to give robbery money at his shop. It is reported that on Sunday of the 04 September 2016 two unknown armed men walked into a shop belonging to a 38 year old Chinese man and demanded money.

According to Captain Ditsela of Villa Nora SAPS, the two men who respectively had a gun and steel found Chinese businessman with his wife and a child who was sent to buy some items. They apparently pushed the child inside the shop before approaching the Chinese man and fought him after he refused to give them money.

Ditsela said; “There they dragged him outside his shop and one of the unknown man shot him from the

back before they got into a getaway silver VW Polo(it’s registration number was not recorded) to escape.”

Police say the Chinese man is in a critical but stable condition. They appeal to anyone with information to come forward. Two counter cases of armed robbery and attempted murder were opened at Villa Nora SAPS.
