Lebogang Ratlaga, popularly known as Lebo Grass is a Seasoned Property Investor, whose social media posts about investment continue to capture the hearts of social media users across different demographics. Originally from Meadowlands in Soweto and currently working in Lephalale, she holds a qualification in Communication Science from Unisa and other managerial qualifications.
She is the founder and investor at Lebograss Cribs, investing in property using different strategies such as buy to let, multilets, student accomodation, REIT’s, Airbnb (which received excellent recognition from the hotel industry of Netherlands) househack and property retailing among others.
She loves Real Estate and boosts 16 years’ experience in the industry. She also founded the Lebograss Mentorship Programme that helps people invest in property, personal financial literacy and starting of a business. Her other innovations include co-founding Be Wise Financial Seminar, which goes around the country, inviting all industry experts to share insight about Property Investing, Financial Literacy and Business. Her biography further states that she is more of a creative and an innovator. This is evident as she recently started monetizing her social media platforms through digital marketing, known as the Lebograss Ads, where entrepreneurs can advertise their business on her pages. Over a year ago she initiated the Hall of Fame, celebrating men and women in the country, who are making a difference and bringing hope to people.
Her other innovation is MomPreneur and the Mommy’s Retreat, an initiative that is all about helping mothers navigate parenting and prioritizing their Me-Time. In a conversation with Ntshebele she said she wants to be remembered as a mother who inspired other women to buy and build homes for their children. “I believe in human settlement and also want to leave a legacy of generational wealth for my kids”, she said.
In the digital age where people can access various information and content easily, people’s choices always differ. Some find consumption of informative and enlightening content she shares on social media uninteresting while others find it interesting and constructive. She told Ntshebele that she thinks social media users like the information she shares daily. “My Facebook page has over 40k followers, and it is regarded as an information center, where valuable information that uplifts people is shared daily. The page is a community building online platform. To that effect I have monetized some of the content shared”, she said.
One of her special moments was in 2020, when she was considered by the public as one of the influential people on social media, who helped women to invest in property through her mentorship program. She was also featured in other uplifting programs. “In 2021 I was celebrated by one of the biggest property companies known as Private Property for Women’s Month Celebration on their YouTube podcast channel. In 2023 I spoke at an event with over 200 attendees. It didn’t end there; in 2024 I was invited to speak to a crowd of over 400 people on a graduate celebration at the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) as guest to the Bishop of the church”, she concluded. Her content can be accessed on the Facebook page, Lebo Grass.
