So I attend the Miss Lephalale show on Saturday afternoon then turned night without the show starting. Maybe I need glasses but I think the poster read that activities start during the day, so I just thought I should stop being a darkie and come on time but dololo.
I stayed because I like things and I wanted to catch in on all the action. It was a very hot day and I was quickly getting annoyed but when it cooled down a bit the show was finally about to start. The beauties started arriving in white tees and jeans, waving like they were the queen of England, some smiles seemed a bit fake, yes I saw that. I was also questioning who did some of their makeup? That person must get a hefty fine.
MC Spenzer got the show started, is it just me but is this guy always the ‘Starter MC’? Catchvibe and Emily Boo then took over to start the official programme, so I am so curios, who dresses the both of you? I mean both of you just rocked up looking opposite, if you don’t have a stylist to dress you going to events then you should at least try to coordinate your outfits. Emily, I thought that I will be able to let this go but I cannot. I think you should leave shorts and opt for capres for now. Still on Emily, and so we also had a classic case of “Who wore it Best” when Emily wore the same blush pink princess dress as one of the contestants. I guess Lephalale is a small town, we are bound to buy the same things. Ok, enough about you girl, still sending much love your way. And Catchvibe, a blazer at a stadium, really? Like really? That’s all I’m saying.
Socialite Suzie Jacobs and her entire family came to support her brother’s bae Jessica who was crowned Miss Lephalale. The family was sure proud, they definitely have white tendencies, I mean coming out as the whole family to support their makoti, or I am I putting my foot in there? Suzie was wearing the same shorts she wore at the picnic event at Mano Park and the same hair, girl if you need a stylist just dial me up, I could use a job the struggle is real, wink wink.
I spotted Mjora in a red bow tie, there was no way you could not see him. He wore that and matched with bold red sneakers, he looked good but for a different. Ricardo looked simple in a vest and jeans as he was busy running around directing the event.
A few fights broke during the show, some people just don’t know how to behave, or what happened? Le borile moreki?
And there was a VIP section which was not barricaded, so much for VIP. Anyway, King Monada is a friendly guy, he kept taking pictures with fans. And in artists’ style he left right after the performance. The judges looked stunning, thank you for making the effort but I must say Miss Limpopo looked like a Black Barbie.
There were some who also made an effort to look good and then there was a couple who thought wearing identical t-shirts is a fashion statement, guys is 2016, who wears that to an event?
I had a bit of fun, MissyD will be sure to attend the next one.
