
A number of women were hosted at Lems Guesthouse on a Saturday afternoon in honour of celebrating inspirational woman. Woman from different sectors were invited to share their experiences and inspire other woman to grow strong in their paths.
The event was running its second edition after it was birthed by Precious Letswalo who is the founder of Majestic Thoughts Media and Communications. According to Letswalo, there are a lot of opportunities in and around Lephalale but many woman are not exposed to a lot of information. The event is aimed at breaking barriers for woman.
The first event was held last year on the 22 August and a number of phenomenal women attended such as Kwena Motsoko and Lonnah Balayi. Speaking at this year’s event was Health and Beauty expert Molatelo Kgwantha, she advised that people should follow what they love as it will not even feel like work. Molatelo is a proud owner of Mola’s Beauty Cave, a company that has now partnered with a global company to retail their products. She started her career very determined and in a short period of time she was trusted with the position of assistant manager at Camelot. “You should never be too smart to learn from other people”, said Molatelo. She also challenged the woman at the event to come back next year with a testimonial after changing another woman’s life.
Tsholofelo Nku of Global Genesis was one of the speakers at the event. She shared that she never imagined herself as a business woman but she is glad that she followed her dreams.
A lucky young woman was treated to a facial, courtesy of Mola’s Beauty Cave. The rest of the woman received lovely freebies from Nacia Collection. Popular Lephalale FM radio host Emily Boo was the MC of the relaxed event where the woman shared a light lunch, beauty and business tips.
“We have realised that the only way to bring woman together is through uplifting seminars which then brought this concept of woman empowerment seminars to life. The benefits of the annual women seminar hosted by us are that we are building sisterhood and unleashing potential woman and leaders in our town”, said. Letswalo.
